Finnish Hunters' Association is a independent civic organisation, which supervises the interests of Finnish hunting, hunters and hunting societies in national and international politics
Nationally the association’s duties in lobbying encompass active interactions with authorities central to hunting and huntsmanship. The association is asked for a large number of official statements on different reflections, reports, memoranda and regulation suggestions. Furthermore, Hunters’ Association takes initiatives regarding the interests of hunters as well as participates in several hunting related work groups and committees.
Finnish Hunters Association also participates in international lobbying. The association is a member of both the Nordic Nordisk Jägersamvirken (NJS) and the European Federation of Associations for Hunting and Conservation of the EU (FACE).
